When the Grade 3/4 classes began designing their Rube Goldberg machines they all had lots of ideas and everyone wanted to include their idea in their machines. The groups had to compromise on their ideas and test if these would work using lots of different materials. They had so much fun building and creating their Rube Goldberg machines and then being able to share them with the other classes and the parents that came to see them.
They also wrote information reports about Rube Goldberg and the simple tools he used to make his crazy machines work.
